X Man likely to cometh!!

The Book I'm About to Finish

This is the first Lehane novel that I have read.  It is quite good.  The opening scene with Babe Ruth on a train sucked me right in like a tractor beam.  The characters are very interesting early on in the novel but grow kind of sappy as the novel wears on.  But there are some really cool scenes of murder and fights, as well as some good mob violence.  Plus the historical stuff is neat too.  I recommend the book if you like violence, history, and baseball.

Dreams Crushed

Welp, I guess "me and my dream of doing nothing" did not work out for me. I still like to blog though. So from this moment on I'm focusing on content. This is what separates the real bloggers from the non-bloggers. I'm okay though, I don't feel bad. Oddly, I feel relieved.

All Sinners Fall In Line

Harry Dean Stanton does an outstanding job as "Roman Grant" on HBO's "Big Love".  Getting ready to watch last night's episode on DVR right now.  How can you not love a show about Mormon polygamists jamming out to Steppenwolf?
